Eric Brockmire

Eric Brockmire, President and Founder of The Honest Water Filter Company, has 30 years of experience in the plumbing industry and 25 years in the water treatment industry. Eric opened his first company, Brockmire Plumbing Inc. in 1993 and is renowned for having the highest level of knowledge and integrity in the business,
It didn’t take long for Eric to realize he had a deep passion for water quality and treatment. He spent 10 years on the Executive board of directors for the San Diego chapter of the PHCC (Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors), and holds a California ROP teaching credential, spending 3 years teaching in the PHCC apprenticeship training program. As his passion grew, he spent the next 8 years traveling across the country teaching and training plumbers across the nation not only about water treatment and the effects of water on plumbing systems but specifically teaching the plumbers how to provide solutions to their customers’ water treatment needs.
Although Eric has always offered traditional carbon, salt softener and ultrafilter water treatment products through his companies, he knew there had to be a better option. In addition to being costly and needing a time-consuming install, he further realized that water treatment systems were products that were sold once every 10 years and there was no recurring revenue stream, so he researched options.
That’s when Eric began working with Aquamor Water in Temecula, California. They designed a cartridge-based system which was a fraction of the size of “traditional” whole house systems plus they do not require backwashing, draining or electricity thus saving the plumber time and money on install. The result was an agreement with Aquamor to create a dealer network with The Honest Water Filter Company selling a private label product exclusively to the plumbing industry.
