How do I find out what’s in my municipal water?
Every municipality puts out an annual water report. In addition, you can go to https://www.ewg.org/tapwater/ and type in your zip code to see what contaminants may be in your water.
Is my tap water safe to drink?
The simple answer is yes. However, from time-to-time, there may be contaminants that enter your water stream out of the control of your municipal water district. It’s during these events that you need a whole house water filter system.

Are bacteria and pathogens becoming more resistant to disinfection?
YES! Recent studies show bacteria is evolving and becoming more resistant to municipal disinfection. Because of this, having a physical filter (barrier) small enough to block bacteria from entering your home is becoming more crucial than ever. Our sub-micron (0.2) filters do just that.
How do chloramines differ from chlorine and how does that affect consumers?
Chloramines are a combination of chlorine and ammonia. Chloramines are capable of disinfecting better and longer than chlorine alone which is why more and more municipal water districts are using chloramines as their main disinfecting agent. However, chloramines are more difficult to remove from water and can be more damaging to your plumbing system.
